More Rain for San Antonio Valley
It's 7:00AM, and it's raining again. Sometimes the weather forecast is right, it seems, and hinting at more on the way this weekend by way of "a chance of showers".
The grape growers in the valley are having quite a time with weed control this year. No sooner do we disc/mow/apply herbicide/plow/weed badger/etc. than it rains for a few more days, and kicks off yet another cycle of weeds.
We'll watch carefully in the vineyards here. As I look down at the Twin Vines vineyard from the house, I see ominous clumps of green appearing in the rows.
I wonder if we'll have to irrigate this year?!
