Welcome to the Escafeld Vineyards "vineyard diary"!
Welcome to our vineyard diary!
What is the "vineyard diary"? Simply put, it is a "web log" that we have put in place in order to communicate happenings in our vineyard or with our wine, things that we think might be interesting, useful or maybe educational. The intention is to post small updates, and post them often (we'll see how that works out). You may expect to read seasonal updates on the vineyards, as the vines go through their yearly cycle, and we will also post information about upcoming wine tasting events, wine releases and other such things.
As it stands, we are using the Blogger system to facilitate our diary. This is a very flexible system, and it allows such things as comments from readers, and much more besides. You may regard this version of the diary as a "beta", and we'll be learning how the system works as we go.
We will make use of hyperlinked text like this to make the diary more interesting. You will note a couple of examples already in this short introductory post.
