Please read this important ordering information carefully Shipping We endeavor to fulfill all orders within one business day. We offer various shipping methods, but please note that while choosing a faster shipping method will reduce transit time, it will not reduce transit time to the carrier from our facility. We generally ship in styrofoam shipping containers (supplies permitting). These containers afford the best possible protection against high ambient temperatures during shipping. Please note that Escafeld is not responsible for any heat damage occuring once we have handed over your wine to the carrier. Quantity Discounts We offer a discount based on quantity: 2-5 bottles 3% discount, 6-11 bottles 5% discount, 12-23 bottles 10% discount, 24+ bottles 15% discount. Shipping Outside California Escafeld Vineyards is located in California, and as such there are restrictions to where we can ship. At the moment we can ship to the following US states: Alabama AL * California CA District of Columbia DC ** Idaho ID Illinois IL Iowa IA Minnesota MN Missouri MO Nevada NV New Mexico NM North Dakota ND Ohio OH *** Oregon OR Washington WA Wisconsin WI West Virginia WV * Shipping direct to consumers in Alabama is prohibited; however, consumers may obtain prior written approval from the Alabama Beverage Control Board and have the shipment consigned, with freight charges prepaid, directly to the individual in care of an ABC store (where taxes are rendered). ** Customers in DC may ship one bottle of wine per consumer per month. *** Customers in Ohio may order wine via our website or by telephone; however, they must obtain permission to "import" from the Ohio Division of Liquor Control and pay appropriate taxes prior to accepting delivery. More information. If you do not reside in one of these states, we are not currently able to take your online order through this site. However, our tasting room, A Taste of Monterey, (831) 751-1980 can ship our wine to most states. Alternatively, contact your local wine merchant who may be able to order through wholesale channels on your behalf. We are working to add other states by way of online sales or retail distribution in the near future, so please check back soon. At present we do not ship internationally. Adult Signature Required It is illegal to ship wine to minors (persons under 21 years old). This is the reason for the date of birth check on our order form. Additionally, an adult signature is required upon delivery of all wine ordered over the Internet. Our carrier (usually UPS) will require ID showing that the receiving adult signatory is at least 21 years old. This is required by law and there can be no exceptions.
